4050 Branch
Paso Robles, CA 93446
(805) 237-3155 Map

Station 36 is located in the heart of the Paso Robles wine country, Meridian Station 36 is was built by the County of San Luis Obispo to meet the rising demand for service in the rural Paso Robles area. Meridian Station 36 operates an ICS Type-I fire apparatus staffed with a Fire Captain and a Fire Apparatus Engineer. Station 36 is supplemented with a Paid-Call Firefighter Company of 15. Company 36 responds to all incidents in the Meridian area via radio pager.

Due to the large number of wineries, Station 36 personnel are responsible for the training and coordination of Hazardous Materials. Many wineries use large quantities of chemicals, necessitating trained and qualified emergency responders.
