CAL FIRE
Burn Restrictions and Burn Permits
During certain times of
the year, residential debris burning of
dead vegetation can be done safely when
fire danger is low. However, homeowners
should always check with their
local
CAL FIRE station and before
burning. For more information on debris
burning safety download an educational
fact sheet.
Burn Restrictions
When the weather begins
to warm up and fire danger increases,
CAL FIRE will restrict all residential
debris burning. When a burn restriction
is in place there is absolutely no
debris burning allowed.
Current Restrictions
The California Air
Resources Board, California Department
of Forestry (CAL FIRE) and the APCD
designate permissive burn days. Call the
CAL FIRE Burn Line at (800) 834-2876 to
find out if the current day is a
permissive burn day in your zone. ontact
information may be found at the
website.

have separate and more accurate
forecasts. Click on the thumbnail image
