Map

The Cambria Fire Station is staffed by a cooperative agreement
between CAL FIRE and the County of San Luis Obispo. It serves the
citizens of the Northern Coast with year around fire protection,
prevention, rescue and emergency medical services. These
firefighters specialize in cliff and ocean rescue, as well as being
experts in urban and rural fire protection.
Cambria's Station is challenged by its rugged terrain along the
Highway 1 and Highway 46 west corridors. Station 10 maintains
cooperative agreements with the
Cambia Community Service District
as well as the California
State Parks area in and around
Hearst Castle to provide
assistance for all emergencies for these agencies as well.
To accomplish this 24 hour professional fire protection, Cambria
Fire Station maintains 4 fulltime firefighters, (1 Fire Captain and
3 firefighters) every day during declared fire season, (May to
November). During un-declared fire season, (November - May) the
County funds a cooperative Amador agreement with CAL FIRE to provide
2 fulltime firefighters, (1 Fire Captain and 1 firefighter) every
day. The County also funds Company 10, comprised of Paid Call
Firefighters that assist when an emergency occurs.
Cambria Fire Station is equipped with 3 Fire Apparatus:
